NPOL and TOGA teams have completed NAMMA campaign |

| The Wallops NPOL and TOGA radar teams have returned home after almost two months in Senegal and Cape Verde as part of the NASA African Monsoon Multidisciplinary Analyses (NAMMA) campaign. During the campaign the radars collected more than 60 Gigabytes of science data. NPOL and TOGA science operations were conducted August 21 through September 30 and August 15 through September 15, respectively. Both radars are on their way back to Wallops and are expected to arrive at the end of October. |

| A preliminary radar site survey in Senegal was completed in August 2004. Several candidate areas were identified as being suitable for use by the NPOL radar. NPOL is scheduled to be a part of the African Multidisciplaney Monsoon Activity during August and September 2006. |
